How to replace the hard-drive of a MacBook Pro
(unibody/late 2009/early 2010)
Exchanging the hard-drive (RAM/ battery) of the new unibody
MacBooks (Pro) has become a mere child‘s play.
The 2.5 hard-drive needs a SATA port and must not be higher
than 9.5 mm.
I strongly encourage you to choose an SSD. They are noiseless
and fire up applications super fast.
Recommended SSD drives:
160
GB SSD Now M-Series - Kingston
256 GB CMFSSD-256GBG2D - Corsair

Replacing the RAM/
battery
To replace the RAM or the battery you only have to unscrew
the floor slab. After that you can replace the RAM modules
without any tools. Just ground yourself before you start,
don‘t touch the contacts and let the modules snap in
carefully.
To replace the battery (which should only be necessary in a
few years. But who knows) you only have to unscrew the floor
slab. After that you can lift the battery up at the
corner.
Screwing the bottom
case
· Place the floor slab carefully and in the right
direction
· Screw in the screws and take care of using the right
sizes
· Boot your Book and have fun
