Quickies View
This is the main view you will always see when you start the application. Quickies are like Post-It's or Stickies…
To create a new Quicky just cklick the 'New-Button' and begin to write…
You can allocate Tags to every Quicky to easily find Quickies…
You can search Quickies by Title and by Tag. You have to confirm your search with enter…
You can print Quickies or export them as .pdf or .rtf files. You can do that by clicking the 'Info-Button' or via the menu…
Text, Pictures and Links
Quickies (and of course the Notes and Snippets can do the same) can store Text, images and often you just want to copy a website or its content with links to store them for later. meinKOPP will automatically create a link - so just click it and Safari will open the Website…
ToDo!s & Notes View
With meinKOPP (btw - thats a German often used word you can translate with myHEAD) you can also store ToDo!s and Notes
To see the ToDo!s just click the 'ToDo!s-Button'…
To get back to the Quickies just click the 'Quickies-Button'…
Categories
To create ToDo!s and Notes you first have to create Categories…
So you can better manage and track your ToDo's and Notes…
To create a new Category you have to open the Categories sheet by clicking the 'Categories-Button' and than you can add a new Category by clicking the 'New-Button'…
ToDo!s
To add a new ToDo!s just click the 'New-Button'…
You can now give your ToDo! a title, write a description and edit the 'Due Date' manually or by clicking the 'Date-Button'…
You can also edit the priority with the stars and if you want to keep one ToDo! you have done you can show that with the 'Done-Button!…
If you need an overview of all ToDo!s from a selected Category you can print them via the Menu…
Notes
To see the Notes just click the 'Notes-Button'…
Notes work like Quickies but they are allocated to Categories to better get your things done…
:-)
You can als add Tags to each Note and export and print them…
Snippets
Snippets are like advanced Quickies. Often you have to fast write down a link or a mail adress or just want to store a thought, a sketch et cetera…
Stored links can be opened in Safari by clicking the 'Open URL-Button' and stored adresses will be opened in Mail by clicking the 'eMail-Button'…
You can also manag your snippest with Tags…
To open the Snippets just cklick the 'Snippets-Button'…
Overview
Some of the first users of the first versions from meinKOPP (we have come a long way…)
asked for a possibility to change the sorting by their own - so I have created an "overview"…
You can see this Overview by clicking the 'Overview-Button'…
There you can change the sorting and fast find all your content…
meinKOPP will remember the last selected Quicky, Category, ToDo!, Snippet and Note…
Backup [normal] Version
If you own the [normal] version all your Notes and ToDo's are stored in
~/Library/Application Support/meinKOPP
Backup [portable] Version
If you own the [portable] version all your Notes and ToDo's are stored in
meinKOPP.app/Contents/Data
IMPORTANT!!!
The [portable] version is no typical Mac application - so please always remember - if you delete meinKOPP[portable] you will also delete all your data!
Please read the Update Manual that comes with every new [portable] version!
